Student exchanges and research collaborations with foreign universities have been deepened in the International Graduate Program on Civil and Environmental Engineering.
In the 2013-2014 academic year, our Student Exchange Support Program for short-term study in Japan has been accepted by Japan Student Services Organization. The scholarship information is now available through the following URL.

This program will support student exchanges with Thammasat University in Thailand, The University of Moratuwa, University of Peradeniya and University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka, National University of Civil Engineering, Hanoi, in Vietnam, and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, where have had the agreement on academic exchange with Saitama University. The students of these universities will visit Saitama University to study advanced knowledge and state-of-art researches of civil engineering. Japanese students of Saitama University will also go to the above universities to exchange academic and cultural information with foreign faculty members and students. The aim of the program is to educate students to become internationally active engineers and researchers.
